BUZZ on BOOK BIZ takes a different turn in this episode. Host Richelle Wiseman flies solo and raises concern about recent book bans in United States schools and libraries. She explores how Critical Race Theory is being used as a catch all term to fight children being exposed to US history of Slavery, the slave trade, and any discussion of racism.
This episode only scratches the surface of a much bigger discussion about race, equity and inclusion…but for this podcast, the focus is on books.
