AJ Dybantsa, the top high school recruit in the country, has a top seven that includes Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, BYU, Kansas, Kansas State, and North Carolina. BYU is the outlier, but with an unofficial visit already under his belt, an official expected to be set, and transferring to play his final high school season in Utah, it sure looks like Kevin Young's team is a legit player in the Dybantsa sweepstakes.

Another former mid-major team having a recruiting renaissance is Butler, who landed three of the six highest rated recruits in program history in the 2025 class under coach Thad Matta. Can Matta win enough games in the Big East to keep his job long enough for those recruits to end up on campus?
