Cabral Gold is a Gold exploration company that has an advanced Gold district scale project in Brazil. The company’s key asset is the Cuiú Cuiú project in which it has 100% interest and is located approximately 20km NW of Eldorado Gold's Tocantinzinho project 

Cabral Gold has already defined two Gold deposits that have a million ounces. Both deposits are open at depth and within an 8km radius of the two deposits, which are 5km apart, there are 43 other targets. The company has just identified a very large oxide blanket on one of these two deposits and thinks there may be others in the vicinity.

This is a district scale project located in the Tapajos region, which is the site of the world’s largest Gold rush in history and this region produced 20-30 millions ounces during the 1980s. The Cabral Gold project area is the site of the largest historic Gold camp. 

Eldorado Gold has constructed a new 70km road to their flagship project from BR-163 highway, (paved in the last 5 years by the federal government), Cuiú Cuiú is easily accessible through a spur road from there.  Cabral Gold’s neighbour has recently been granted the construction license and tailings permits.  In addition, new hydroelectric power plants are planned for the region, so more growth is expected in the Tapajos area.

Cabral Gold raised some capital and had a spectacular year last year alongside the increase in the Gold price and became the second best performing mining stock on the TSX-V exchange in terms of liquidity, growth in market cap and share price. 

Cabral Gold has $3.5m cash at the moment but will need to raise some more capital at some point this year when the timing is right to further progress their discovery. The company has 3 drilling rigs running now so plans to have a lot of news flow coming out over the next few months.
