  • 43. Love harder.
Someone I know, someone that was young, and healthy, and too young to die, was recently given 12 hours to live.
Just two weeks before, she was living a completely normal life.
Whenever I’m faced with stories like these, one’s that don’t make sense to my mind, I can’t allow the darkness of it all win.
I have to look for the lessons, and the wisdom, and the gold hidden beneath the surface.
Listen as I share on this week’s episode.
P.S. I promise there’s a lot of hope in my words.

  • 42. Before the end of the year.
I think it’s common at this time of year (the holiday season) to feel a lot of pressure to go, go, go. Well, instead of hustling for the next 25 days, I’m inviting you to join me in doing the exact opposite. No, seriously. Let’s take the next 25 days (the remainder of the year) to rest, reflect, and recharge. So that we can be focused, inspired and energized going into 2023! Listen as share my plan for doing just that.

  • 40. Listen to this before you go home for the holidays.
Thanksgiving is in just a couple of days, and I know for many that the holidays in general are a challenging time, because so many people have challenging relationships with their parents. I’ve been thinking about this a lot the past few days, and it just felt right to have a little talk with you before you head home for the holidays. Let me preface this by saying, this episode is for people that want peace in their lives. Who want to be able to see their parents and be around their parents and not feel some type of way. If that’s you, please listen!

  • 39. My secret weapon.

Do you ever wake up after an amazing weekend, vacation, holiday or celebration of any kind, and feel the blues?

Like you had all this anticipation building up beforehand, and obviously all the excitement and high of it all during, and then afterwards you’re sad it’s over, and maybe even a little depressed?

Getting back to our normal and monotonous, daily routines – can feel flat and not so exciting, and maybe even a little overwhelming after one of those high highs. Oh the anxiety of that looming to-do list or the dreaded after vacation inbox.

How do we get out of that slump, AND carry ourselves to the next high?

On this episode I tell you how. It's simple, yet powerful and so effective.  This is sure to get you out of that slump, and even increase your energy, and overall contentment.

You don't want to miss this one!

  • 38. Self-sabotage + the fear of success.
I had a listener reach out recently and she said, that over this past year she’s really feeling better, she’s feeling steadier emotionally, she’s reaching exciting goals, her life is becoming what she always dreamed it would be. But the fact that she’s not struggling feels unsettling to her. It’s unfamiliar territory, and she wants to do everything in her power not to sabotage all this great momentum happening in her life.
In this episode, I speak to her situation and share my thoughts on overcoming self-sabotaging patterns and the fear of success.

  • 37. Choosing to love life.

I think we all can be guilty of rushing through our lives. We can't wait for the weekend. We can't wait for vacation. We can't wait to get married. We can't wait until our kids are older. We can't wait to get through (fill in the blank). And there's nothing wrong with being excited about those things or looking forward to them. I get that, trust me. But don't go on autopilot until then! Don't miss all the glorious in-between. This time of year is historically the most insane for me. And typically, I would just go into survival mode for several weeks, rushing through it as fast as possible to just get through it, until I dragged myself across the finish line bloodied and bruised. Dramatic much? Well, after several years of this, I decided that I wanted to try a different approach. One where I woke up every day and intentionally CHOSE to love life, the good and the bad. Listen as I share my experience and all the wisdom. xx - stv
