Jesus spoke an important message to us, found in Luke 15. We see a very real description of God’s response to us when we repent. Listen to the Parable of the Prodigal Son…when God ran….

Our Lord is God of the universe, THE creator and we are His creation. And since there is no good thing within us and He is our Savior and King, He alone is worthy of our worship and to be praised. All that we do should be to the glory of God.

If you have been given the role of “Father”, then you will be encouraged today as you are reminded of God’s standards in his word and how HE WILL give you wisdom and strength to accomplish the task before you. And you will be happy as you look back and see God’s finger prints on your life as He has used you in the lives of your children and those who look to you as the ‘father figure’ in their life.

In Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 we read that there is a time for every activity under heaven. This list includes a time to heal, a time to laugh, a time to dance, a time to be quiet and a time for peace. These five particular seasons describe time for us to RELAX and time to ENJOY.

As a believer in Jesus Christ, a Christian, the Bible describes our relationship as a “Bondservant” to Christ AND we are also referred to as Children of God, THE King of Kings.

When Christians think of books in the bible filled with Praise, most would jump to the Psalms. We will look at how to praise, instruments used in old testament days, why we praise our God. And the account of the ten lepers who were healed, a reminder that we should ALL give praise.

Our Call To Worship today reminds us to pause and remember the things God has done in and around us. In remembrance of what He has done for you. I like to refer to this process as looking for the “fingerprints of God”, to confirm where He has been….and to rejoice in the fact that ”God was here”. Please join me as we walk down ‘memory lane’ with this in mind.

Since God created the first woman, and blessed Eve with the very first birth of the very first little baby, He has continued to bless countless women over the years with the awesome privilege and responsibility of being a “Mother”. Consider the words of Psalm 127:3   Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb His reward.

Blessing and Cursing are both very powerful proclamations. It is plain in scripture that each one can have an effective and measurable effect. With that in mind, be careful how you use them. God has provided us with instruction and examples in his word.

We are constantly overwhelmed by information every day, details that we try to confirm as accurate, some we trust and other sources that we question. It is a tremendous comfort to know that we CAN trust the unchanging word of God as FACT.
