STAY FOCUSED: As I get older, it is more clear to me than ever that there are so many distractions in this world I cannot stay focused on the “main thing” without the help of an almighty God. Throughout this life, there will always be distractions. God wants us to STAY FOCUSED.

GREAT NEWS: As we are looking at the reality of the Gospel, if you haven’t yet developed a relationship with God through His son Jesus Christ, then I ask you to please listen closely and consider the following truths of scripture. God loves you and is ready and willing to accept you just the way you are.

HIS REST: “Rest” is a concept found throughout scripture. It is vital that we have times of rest. Our body requires physical rest, sleep. Our minds need times of rest from the stress of this world. And our hearts, our spirit needs rest so that we can recharge and be refreshed.

THE BEST: Think about what it means to be “best” at something, to give the “best”, to look “best”. Please invest a few moments. Look into scripture at God and “His best”, us and “Our best” and that for Christians, “the best” is yet to come!

HOW MUCH LOVE: How much love does our heavenly Father have for us? Should that have an effect on our love for others?

You may have heard or seen a visual description of how much Jesus loves us. It is as if he was asked how much He loves us. He responds by stretching his arms out, making the shape of a cross and Jesus replied, I love you THIS MUCH!

GOAL SETTING: Do you make plans for each day? Are you a “list” person….making a list for things you want to do, tasks you want to accomplish. One of the many quips I remember from years ago, and it has stuck with me is “plan your work, then work your plan”. God has plans for us, we see them throughout scripture.
