To Praise God for His faithfulness is to recognize the fact that God never changes. When He gives his word, you can “take that to the bank”. Count on it as if His promises will be fulfilled just as the son will rise tomorrow. And His mercies are new every morning, great is His faithfulness.

JOYFUL HEART: God has provided many reasons that we can have a joyful heart. Let’s listen to God’s prescription for joy in our lives as we hear examples and testimonies of joy listed for us in scripture, God’s word, the Bible.

How To Be Heavenly Minded: For Christians, this world is not our home and heaven is coming! Here are three important thoughts about heaven: It is where God is so that is where we want to be. There will be no more death or dying there AND we will finally enjoy peace and rest from all the cares and concerns of this world.

What’s in a name? When it comes to the names of God that we find in scripture, A LOT is communicated in the various names we see there. I encourage you to search the scriptures daily to see what God wants you to know about Himself. As we hear each reference to our God, remember that this is the one Who created you, knew you before the creation and set in motion the plan to save you and a heaven to spend eternity with you.

MORE ABUNDANT LIFE: Abundant Life in Christ is ours as His adopted children. It is part of His legacy to us. Abundant Life includes a long list of benefits such as the Holy Spirit and all the fruit that come with the Spirit. Let’s invest a few moments looking at Abundant Life from scripture.

JESUS' PRAYER: When it comes to PRAYER, it is certain that the word of Jesus Christ would be the most meaningful, the most accurate and the best criteria for communicating with God, His Father.

SEASONS: As we go through ‘seasons’ in our lives, God uses them to conform us to His image….as if to help prepare us for enjoying eternity with Him in heaven. For example: when we go through times of illness, we learn things spiritually that we might not learn any other way. Like the way that we then know how to comfort others with the way we were comforted. I’ve heard it described as if some seasons in our lives are like a parenthesis.

GOD SEES ALL: We exist under the watchful eye of the God Who knows the future, He sees ALL. This reality will affect or should affect ALL that we do, say or think. For example: knowing that he sees what we do or say can act as a deterrent or may be recognized as encouraging us to do good. In light of the fact that He is the God Who sees, how should we then live?

BEING PRUNED: The work of God in our lives described as ‘pruning’ and/or discipline, struggles and trials are all valuable parts of conforming us to the image of His son. These are inevitable as His lovingly crafted plan. These are so vital in our spiritual lives that we should praise and thank God for all of these events and circumstances. Indeed “In everything give thanks”.
