Although the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine didn't provide us with a 40-yard dash time many were anticipating for Cam Skattebo, The People's Running Back still walked away from Indianapolis with a statement made. Skattebo wasn't shy during his team interviews and kept the same face and mantra that he had always had. In the few events that he participated in, eyebrows were raised and jaws were dropped. Skattebo posted a vertical jump of 39.5 inches, which is well above the position average of around 34 inches. The Arizona State Sun Devils' star also posted a 10'3" broad jump, which again was higher than the roughly 9'8" average. Plenty of questions surrounded the running back and whether he was athletic enough for the next level. Those two numbers proved he has the explosiveness that we saw on the field, but we will have to wait until ASU's Pro Day to clock his 40-yard dash. Skattebo did measure in on the shorter side at 5'9 1/2" but with a more than healthy 219lbs frame. All in all, it was a day that many hoped to see from Skattebo and all eyes should be fixed toward the ASU legend as the draft process rolls on.
