Can I Getta Amen

"...the light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it." - John 1:5

Brittany Primeaux has been a long awaited guest on Can I Getta Amen, and I think after listening to this episode, you'll understand why. We NEED all that she is, and we are extremely grateful that the Lord has willed this time, this space, and this encounter. All you have to do is open your heart, press play, and you will hear the Lord speak.

St. Leo, pray for us!

This episode is dedicated to Yvonne Bienvenue (Episode 79), who has been and continues to be a wonderful companion on this journey.

It’s 2022 and we're back in studio with Season 2, y'all! And what a super cool guest to kick off the New Year!

But is Father Michael Richard cooler than Father Matt Hebert (Episode 87)? We’ll let you decide. All we know is that this week’s episode is FILLED with goodness!

Join us as Father Michael drops bombs in Holy Spirit Studios about God’s provision, love, and how to live daily in His will. We also got the chance to discuss his play on Mary Magdalene, authentic community, radical trust in God, and the job description of a cannon lawyer. This visit really has us looking forward to having him back in the diocese after his studies in Rome, so he can hang out with us more often. We hope you enjoy him as much as we did. Also, we still hope Father Matt bought him lunch!

Today we spent some time with Lilah, Emmy, and Molly...a.k.a The Animal Avengers. They requested some air time so they could talk about what we can do to save endangered animals and just help the planet. They also introduced us to Babs, Barbara, Mia, and Jenga, four animals they "adopted" and keep up with to help promote their cause. We are proud of their efforts, and the sheer cuteness of this episode will have you also saying, "AMEN! AND SAVE THE PANDAS!"

It feels very fitting that our 100th episode centers around holy friendships, as that’s how this whole thing got started! We are super blessed to share the mics with two of our very beloved buddies, Fr. Blake Dubroc and Fr. Andrew Schumacher. They bring us on the journey of their holy friendship, dote a little on one another and remind us that the best relationships are Christ centered relationships. These two make holiness look way too cool. Y’all enjoy!

Fr. Patrick Broussard, y'all!  He's back to answer ALL of our questions on prayer, Halloween, Advent, and more. No episode makes us laugh more than one with tons of Fr. Patrick puns. You can't help but feel a little happier and a little holier just simply being in his presence, even through a microphone.
