Then, Dom welcomes in Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez onto the Dom Giordano Program to discuss how he and others leading the police department have revolutionized the City’s crime rate, lowering it to levels that many never expected. First, Dom and Rodriguez discuss the Chief’s history a bit, with Rodriguez telling of his childhood in the City of Camden. Then, Dom asks Rodriguez about the notion of ‘community policing,’ with Rodriguez laying out the relationships that his officers share with the City residents and the repeated help that residents provide in giving information that leads to accountability.
