Crimewatch 14th October - Incident Summary:

House fire  - deliberately lit on 16th of January 2020 at 11.15pm.

Cormorant Blvd Kialla.

The house located in the newly developed area of Sevens Creek Estate was unoccupied residential property, due to a recent separation of parties.

CCTV footage revealed fire deliberately lit.  It shows a vehicle arriving, a male exiting the vehicle & collecting jerry cans from the boot before the fire.

The vehicle is described as a small Silver hatchback, unknown registration.

Entry to the house via the laundry door, splashed fuel around inside the house, ignited the fuel house and left in the vehicle.

As he got into passenger side – a second person was driving who also has knowledge of the fire.

Police believed that the offender knew the property, as prior to setting the house alight the offender has walked around the house, turning all outside CCTV cameras/monitors to a point that they were not able to record any details, except the front camera which police believe the offender did not know or see there.

Police are seeking any information from the community in relation to fire or the people involved in this fire.
