The team answer what gig they would love to take their parent to. Spida has got some sad news about the Runaway Bay Seagulls leagues club not getting their lease renewed from the Council. Seems like a sad end to a storied part of that community. Leisel and Liam have organised some serious team bonding for Spida, in the form of cuddle therapy. Professional cuddler, Missy Robinson, joins on the line to give the team some exercises. Watch Spida squirm. Liam has a listening test that apparently reveals your personality, and Spida can’t believe that Sustain cereal still exists, but the Gold Coast disagree!

The team plans their golf day tomorrow! Teams, rules, and what’s at stake. Tom Tate told the ABC to “F off” in a press conference, so the team air out their own grievances, and invite the Gold Coast to share their own “F off’s!” Tomorrow is the day of the work retreat, which will be Leisel, Liam and Spida’s first trip away together. Leisel tells the most amazing story about an ex-boyfriend, who she went to New York with after a month of dating. In his house, there was a locked door that he said was messy storage. It wasn’t until their trip that she discovered it was actually a door to his kids’ bedroom! Kids she had no idea about! Spida is back from the USA and has recorded a USA Street Talk to see how well the Americans know us! Not well, it turns out…but Leisel Jones fame knows no bounds! Finally, Leisel caught up with Cathy Freeman yesterday and she asked the question she always does – can Leisel see dead people?!

Turns out the show got the Mayor in hot water! Back in February on Tom Tate Tuesday, the Mayor told the show about his dinner at Mar-a-Lago with POTUS. Claims have emerged that the dinner never took place, so the team analyse the audio and give their thoughts on whether the Mayor is in the clear or has a case to answer. Sydney Sweeney’s racy new ad has exploded the internet and Leisel has an opinion about the slight overreaction. The unfortunate Hyrox poo situation is also in the news, with Leisel and Liam giving their 2 cents on the ill timed number 2. Finally, Spida joins the show after his long travel back from overseas – just in time for a team-bonding work retreat!

The team give their weekend wins and whinges. Liam and Leisel both have a win & producer George has a whinge. Liam received a lovely compliment, Leisel had baking success, and George had to eat a pub feed with his hands… and it wasn’t pizza or a burger…. Leisel caught some elderly thieves walking out of Bunnings with a full trolley. Playing the “old and confused” card seems to work for some! Mia Huppatz comes in studio to tell the team about the pirates stealing from their boat in the Broadwater at night time & what their plans are for their sailboat. With Spida away, the team is a bit disconnected, so they’ve organised a team bonding retreat. Spida will not be a fan, especially when he hears about the “cuddle therapy” that could be on the cards.

Thieves in the seas! A couple of aquatic bandits have been caught on video on their third straight night of ransacking vessels in the Broadwater. Leisel is ashamed to admit that she found herself liking a Taylor Swift song, but that’s not nearly as shameful as Liam’s hidden guilty driveway car Maccas OR Spida’s colouring in? Turns out the big fella is a secret colour-inerer! Liam has been tricked this week for Child of the Week, with the kids’ wish for a puppy being suspiciously well justified – it stinks of AI! Leisel is all finished on set and gets feedback from the cast on her performance. Next step – premiere!

Question of the Day: who is more annoying than Christmas obsessed people? NRL finals are on our doorstep, and Liam doesn’t have a dog in the fight. Leisel, Spida and George advocate for their teams. The Dolphins, Cowboys and Warriors are all up for grabs. Leisel’s extra dream has been realised, but not with some slight hiccups. Her first day on set and she managed to ruin a take with her clumsiness – hardly blending in like a background artist should! The team give their NRL Finals bracket. Everyone has Penrith going all the way, except Producer George. Shane Jacobson joins the team to give Leisel advice for her extra job! It derails a bit, ending up discussing her adult star name. Spida is in the USA supporting his son Boston’s first games for the Iowa City Hawkeyes & has a bone to pick with the coffee. They went to ditch the brew and got a funny response when offering it to someone before throwing it. Alistair Clarkson’s North Melbourne gear has all been dropped to a local Op Shop - Leisel and Spida talk about what they have done with their gear and uniforms over the years. Peter V’landys has come out with his NRL Land theme park idea & the team talk through some of their possible attractions at such a theme park. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!

Leisel comes back from the weekend whinging because her moist, tender chicken slipped through the tongs and splattered on the floor and all over the kitchen. She had no choice but to eat it. Spida had his share of chicken while tailgating Boston’s big college football debut! He was initiated by the other football dads in true American fashion. From floor chicken to glory, Leisel has secured a job to fulfill her extra dream – and it films this week! These things move fast and the nerves at setting in. Finally, Kyle joins the show after his Bunnings carpark video went viral over the weekend. Kyle, who is disabled, rocked up to find someone parked with his ute and jet ski stretching across three disabled parks! Not on!
