Canstar Resources is a Canadian based Gold exploration company focused on the discovery of economic mineral deposits in southern Newfoundland, Canada. Canstar Resources acquired the Golden Baie Project, a 62,275 hectare claim package along a major gold bearing structure.
The Project is located in one of the hottest exploration areas as people have realised the potential for high grade orogenic style mineralisation in the region. Canstar has the biggest Gold exploration land package in Newfoundland which has had a little past exploration in the 1980s showing Gold at the surface.
Golden Baie is highly prospective, with recent, new discoveries of visible gold in outcrop at surface and over 20 Gold occurrences spanning a distance of 30 km. Canstar’s exploration programme is the first systematic exploration programme on the claims in decades. Canstar has a strong technical team and board and believes that there is a high probability of new gold discoveries on the Golden Baie Project.
Canstar also holds the Buchans-Mary March project and Daniel’s Harbour Project, both of which are located in the vicinity of formerly producing mines.
Canstar Resources has a budget of $1.5M for exploration in 2021 which will be spent on soil sampling, prospecting and geophysics to determine the targets for the drill programme which will prioritise the Gold occurrences to date. They have some impressive numbers so far and have the technical team in place to help execute their plan going forward.
