The University of Sydney School of Dentistry and ADA NSW brings you a seven-part lecture series from the 2018 Caries Management Symposium; looking at the future of dental caries through research-based, patient-focused minimally invasive management.
In episode four of this series, Professor Michael Swain from the University of Kuwait & University of Sydney summarises 25 years of research on enamel and dentinal caries, the focus of which has been to generate a basic "biomaterials science" understanding of these conditions so that strategies for remineralisation of caries can be understood and quantified.
Parts 1 & 2 of this series are available to ADANSW members only and cover a lecture by Professor Margherita Fontana from the University of Michigan on "Evidenced Based Strategies for Non-operative Caries Management".
Interviewee(s): Professor Michael Swain
Related Course/Event/Links: Remineralisation of Enamel and Dental Caries
