The Carolina Panthers have begun their second round of interviews as interim head coach Steve Wilks, former Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich, and Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore each met with Panthers ownership on Tuesday and Wednesday. Among those three, Frank Reich, the first quarterback in franchise history, has emerged as the favorite to earn the job according to several national NFL insiders.

Reich represents a veteran head coach and provides the offensive background that Panthers owner David Tepper is reported to be looking for in his next coach. Is Frank Reich the best choice to turn the Panthers around?

Former New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton interviewed with the Panthers on Monday but has not scheduled a second interview in Carolina or for any of the other franchises he's interviewed with.
