Following the tragic passing of Charlotte FC player Anton Walkers, the Carolina Panthers will resume their head coaching search on Monday in New York City when they meet with former New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton and New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka. It's been widely reported that in order for a team to acquire Payton's services that they'll have to part ways with a first-round pick. Julian Council wonders why the Panthers are seriously considering Payton as a candidate when the compensation for them is likely higher than Payton's other suitors.

Former Panthers QB coach Ken Dorsey interviewed virtually with the panthers brass on Saturday. Julian updates on the candidates that are still left to interview and gauges who the top candidates are as the search heads into its third week.

Plus, reports on Thursday evening came out that Nicole Tepper failed to complete mandatory diversity training to take part in the Panthers hiring process. Julian explains why this is an issue and yet another example of the Tepper's falling short on the football side of Tepper Sports & Entertainment.
