The Carolina Panthers continued their winning ways at home dismantling the Denver Broncos, 23-10, to make it three consecutive wins at Bank of America Stadium under interim head coach Steve Wilks.

Sam Darnold made his first start for the Panthers since Week 18 last season. Darnold wasn't flashy, completing 11 of 19 passes for 164 yards, and a touchdown, including one on the ground, but was efficient enough to lead the offense behind a 185-yard rushing performance. Following the game, Wilks named Darnold the starter in two weeks at Seattle. Could we finally be seeing the Darnold that the Panthers traded for?

The Panthers defense was excellent once again holding Russell Wilson and the Broncos offense to 246 yards. Brian Burns turned in two more sacks, including a forced fumble to make it four straight weeks with a sack. Have the Panthers finally found their identity late in the 2022 season?

With the win, Wilks remains unbeaten at home and improved to 3-4 since taking over for Matt Rhule in Week 6. Is it too early to have the conversation about Wilks being given the full-time job? What more can Wilks show that he's the right man for the job in Carolina?

The Buccaneers, Falcons, and Saints all lost on Sunday keeping alive the Panthers hopes of an NFC South division title. Could the game in Seattle in two weeks be for the division lead?
