I’m back on the west coast and markets are surging? Is it 2020 again?! This week I go over the market comeback thus far and where we might be headed. Welp, Russia officially invaded the Ukraine this week and markets are reacting. Especially one of our favorites, Palo Alto Networks, who beat earnings and raised guidance yet again in the wake of increased cyberattacks and oh I don't know... WAR?! Block also followed suit with a big earnings beat and are establishing themselves as the early winner of the fintech race. No one can plan for Black Swan events but being able to invest through them can change your life!

This week I go over a busy earnings week on stocks I often cover like Nvidia, AirBnB, and Shopify. Warren Buffett and George Soros both made some rather suspect purchases and sales before major news (shocker), I call out finance YouTubers, review what stocks in the S&P 500 members of Congress invested in the most last year, and I make the case for my restructuring of the FAANG stocks.

Citadel is finding a way out of their short squeeze mess as Ken Griffin flees the country, a couple in New York have $3.6 billion in Bitcoin seized, and I give an update on hedge fund positions with some of my beloved stock holdings. This week is all about big money and proves my favorite theory about Wall Street, it pays to cheat.

The Ark Invest Big Ideas Report for 2022 was released last week and I combed thru all 132 pages for you! I've got everything worth knowing about from the report and let's go ahead and butter our bread by saying it was nice to see a lot of parallel thinking between this show and Ark's research. Not everything I agreed with just most. I also go over the big earnings from Tesla and Apple last week and Google announcing their 20-to-1 stock split! It's a beautiful thing! 

I reiterate the oversold sentiment around tech and that we might finally be seeing some daylight after the worst yearly start to the NASDAQ in my lifetime. I make my bets for Tesla earnings, reveal where Mark Cuban is putting 80% of his new investment money and call BS on the Odell Beckham Bitcoin salary story.

This last week was especially tough with the loss of my great friend, Louie Anderson. I end this episode on a short tribute to Louie and what he meant to me and play the last birthday voicemail I received from him. Louie forever.
