  • An Interview With Marc Summers

Time to have a chat with Nickelodeon legend Marc Summers! We talk about everything from Double Dare props to the infamous Burt Reynolds interview with Jay Leno. Marc even shares some new stories about some familiar Nick at Night stars. We talk a bit about comedy legends , the longevity of his run on the food network, and some pretty exciting news about a possible NEW project! Marc is one of the kindest people out there and I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did :) Born in Indianapolis, he paid his dues as a magician, disc jockey, comedian and studio page in Los Angeles during the 1970s. When Jack Barry's announcer fell sick on The Joker's Wild (1972), 1973, Marc (then a 22-year-old page) filled in. That was his break. He began warming up audiences for network programs like Soap (1977), Star Search (1983) and Alice (1976), gaining exposure that finally led to his "organic" misadventures on Nickelodeon's Double Dare (1986) (which he hosted from 1986 to 1994) and What Would You Do? (1991).

  • Now and Then

Now and Then is a 1995 American coming-of-age comedy-drama film directed by Lesli Linka Glatter and starring Christina Ricci, Rosie O'Donnell, Thora Birch, Melanie Griffith, Gaby Hoffmann, Demi Moore, Ashleigh Aston Moore, and Rita Wilson. The supporting cast features Hank Azaria, Janeane Garofalo, Cloris Leachman, and Bonnie Hunt, among many others. The plot follows four women who recount a pivotal summer they shared together as adolescents in 1970. It is considered a cult classic.

It was filmed largely in the Country Walk subdivision off Coffee Bluff Road in Savannah, Georgia (called Shelby, Indiana in the movie), using the Gaslight Addition and Old Town Cemetery, highlighting the downtown area. Additional filming was done in Statesboro, Georgia in locations including the Bulloch County Court House (also featured in the film 1969) and the building now housing the Averitt Center for the Arts.

On July 18, 2012, it was announced that ABC Family would develop the film into a television series by I. Marlene King, who wrote it and adapted Pretty Little Liars,[2][3] but the project did not move past the development stage. Upon release, the film received mainly unfavorable reviews but was a moderate financial success, grossing $37.5 million on a $12 million budget.
