Whelp. This was supposed to be an episode **about** executive dysfunction, but instead it became an episode **of** executive dysfuntion. It's been a really hectic couple of weeks and it's starting to catch up with us. In this episode, we talk about the logistics of sending a flying teacup into orbit, and then move on to what was supposed to be a conversation about executive dysfunction but devolves steadily into Erik And Catie Having Feelings About Things, in which we discuss the frustration of boredom, the pitfalls of rejection sensitive dysphoria, and honestly just how tired we are.

In this episode, Catie and Erik talk about life in school with ADHD, particularly Catie's experience of being amazing at school while struggling in so many other areas. We talk about being a "gifted kid" and the pitfalls and dangers of that academic label and also Erik makes Catie cry. Erik talks about the resentment and anger of NOT having a "gifted" label, and we set the stage for our upcoming series about surviving (and thriving) with ADHD in an academic environment.

OH BOY ITS FINALLY HAPPENING. After fighting their way through a bundle of vineblights, Helvetica and Blumken are about to learn something (literally) earth-shattering about the mysterious goings-on on Havenloft and what that means for them and the A.D.H.D. There is also a very challenging puzzle.

In this episode, Catie sits down with one of her personal heroes, Jeffrey Marsh. They talk compassion, kindness, self-acceptance with Catie, and we cannot stress this enough, she has absolutely zero chill the entire time. Jeffrey talks about their journey to self-acceptance, their TED talk, becoming the first non-binary author to be offered a major publishing deal- and they even drop some SUPER EXCITING and secret news with us at the end of the episode!
