This is something you either have never or very seldom heard. Several accidents have occurred as a result of helicopter wake turbulence to fixed wing aircraft. This session will the impact of helicopter wake turbulence on fixed wing aircraft both in the VFR environment and the IFR environment.
Ned Parks' aviation roots date back to his cousin, Oliver Parks who started the 1st certified aviation school in the US in 1927. He flew UH-1 helicopters in the Army, and has run several full service FBO’s. He holds ATP/CFII and is rated in both fixed and rotor wing. Ned is FAASTeam member with 4,700+ flight hours.
