Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom leads off the Dom Giordano Program by offering some remembrance for former Philadelphia Mayor Frank Rizzo, who would’ve celebrated his 103rd birthday yesterday. Also, Dom offers his preview of tonight’s Phillies game, explaining why he’s still confident despite the team (and the fans) poor showing in Game 6 last night.
Then, Dom welcomes in attorney Joshua S. Bauchner, who was recently written about in the Wall Street Journal, calling attention to a lawsuit he’s representing that questions Jersey City, NJ's policies pertaining to marijuana usage for their officers. First, Dan expresses his qualm with allowing officers to imbibe, explaining his concern that there is no test that he is aware of to instantly determine whether or not a person is actively high on marijuana, which Bauchner easily dispels. Then, Bauchner tells Giordano how the other states with legal recreational marijuana has handled the issue, and explains why, if the substance is deemed legal, officers should be allowed to lawfully use marijuana.
