November 12th, 2016: Boston Celtics visit the Indiana Pacers on a back-to-back.

Al Horford remains out for the Boston Celtics, and the team was once again beat up on the glass, 57-53, but Isaiah Thomas and a defense that forced 25 turnovers (27 points off turnovers) and accumulated 16 steals, was able to take advantage of a frustrated New York Knicks squad, 115-87 at the TD Garden.

Despite cold temperatures in Boston tonight, the tempers were hot at the Garden, as Carmelo Anthony and Brandon Jennings were ejected from the Knicks, and the nature of the game – in particular towards the waning moments when the game was out of hand – took on an overly physical note.

Friday’s win marked their biggest margin of victory in nearly a year when they beat the Wizards 115-87 last November 28.

The Celtics have a quick turnaround tomorrow night in Indiana, as they face a tough task going against superstar Paul George. The Pacers afforded the Sixers their first win of the season tonight with an OT loss in Philly.
