Sunday, November 26, 2023 – Today’s message is the 4th in our study in Philippians and is titled “God’s Plans Always Succeed.” We had the privilege of having Pastor Sasha and Olga Skrypak and their four children from Ukraine with us in our service on Sunday, and it was an honor to share God’s word of encouragement with them. Tuesday evening, November 28, at 6:00, they will be sharing their experience and ministry in Kyiv. They were in the city when Russia attacked it and have since lost their home due to the invasion. They have an ability, beyond what everyday Americans do, to associate with the type of problems that Paul was experiencing as he was writing to the Philippians as he was under house arrest for two years. The faith that Paul had to endure, realizing that God’s plans always succeed, is what we can learn from. Paul’s success in building the kingdom of God didn’t come from a lack of problems; instead, his success came amid the problems. Worship and study with us as we learn that God is still the same today as He was then, and be encouraged that He has everything under control.

Sunday, November 19, 2023 – We continue studying Philippians. Today's message is titled "From Idealistic to Realistic." Here's a question: When you listen to a pastor or bible teacher, are the messages so high, lofty, and "Idealistic" that they sound unachievable? If they are, do they become a rhetorical discussion without applicable application? If that's the case, how do we move from being "Idealistic" in nature to "Realistic" in application? That's what we're talking about in this message. As we look at the prayer that Paul prays for the church in Philippi, it may appear to be an Idealistic prayer. When we break down the prayer by looking at the key phrases and inviting the power of the Holy Spirit to work in us, we move from the “Idealistic" to the "Realistic," which is when God's revelation knowledge changes us. Let me end this introduction with one more crucial question that will help you see the importance of what we're discussing. Here's the question: At your funeral, how do you want your children and grandchildren to remember you? What do you want your "Legacy" to be? By defining that, you can proactively set goals to be satisfied when that time comes. Think about these questions as you worship and study all with us.

That’s a good question, and I have a great answer – because this book is about Joy and peace, and having these God-given attributes results in having a Hope that lasts for eternity. We’re living in the End Days, and the days ahead will not get better or more manageable for the world or the believer; that’s why we need Joy, Peace, and Hope now more than ever. The world can’t give this, and the world can’t take it away. Worship and study with us and invite the presence of God’s Joy to fill you and give you peace and hope.
