One of the great and wondrous teachings in the Bible is that God calls us but He doesn't only call us to salvation but to kingdom service. In this message we look at the call of God on Moses, a call that comes from a God who reveals Himself first.
As we finish off this "I am" series we look at Jesus' great claim, "I am the resurrection and the life", a claim that calls us to move from a head belief about the hereafter to a heart's affection towards Jesus.
In John 10: 11 and 14 Jesus claims to be the good shepherd. In this message we look at what Jesus points to as qualifying Him as being the good shepherd and what the implications for us are thereafter.
In week 4 of this "I Am" series we look at Jesus' declaration, "I Am the Door." But what kind of door is Jesus and why does anyone need a door at all? In this message we look at 4 characteristics of the door that is Jesus.
We've seen that Jesus is the 'I AM,' and that He's the 'Bread of Life.' In this sermon we turn our attention to Jesus as the 'Light of the World.' But what does this mean to our culture today? Is anyone even looking for the light anymore?
As we continue our series looking at the I AM statements of Jesus we come to John 6 where Jesus claims to be the Bread of Life. But what does that mean and how are we supposed to live in light of it?
In this series we will ask one primary question, 'Who is Jesus?' We'll start by taking a look at a few kinds of answers that exist for that question and we will close with a call to respond to Jesus' own answer.
As we come to the end of the book of James we will be reminded that every man and woman who has received the grace of God has been called to live as a conduit of it into the lives of those around them.
