Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom leads off by discussing the decision by Philadelphia Public Schools to require masks for students for ‘Particle Days,’ with a thick layer of smoke covering Philadelphia due to Canadian wildfires. Then, Dom plays back a clip from PGA/LIV golfer Bryson DeChambeau, who responds with ‘nobody’s perfect’ when pressed on the death of Jamal Khashoggi. This leads Dom to exploit the absolute hypocrisy displayed by PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan, playing back a clip from June of last year in which he called out the Saudi ties to 9/11.
Then, Dom welcomes back Riley Gaines, a national advocate for women’s sports, onto the Dom Giordano Program to hear what she’s been up to recently as the strongest voice speaking out against the inclusion of Trans individuals in female sports. Riley tells about her campaign of asking powerful women in sports to speak alongside her, providing an update on whether she’s heard back from any of these power players including Mia Hamm, the Williams sisters, and Ronda Rousey. Gaines takes Dom and listeners into the locker room she shared with Penn swimmer Lia Thomas, telling in-depth her experience and surprise when she saw the Trans swimmer disrobe nearby. Also, Gaines tells about her relationship with Penn swimmer Paula Scanlan, and tells where you can find all her great work. (Photo by Matthew Lewis/Getty Images)
