Change is inevitable and often when we least expect it. In this episode, I ask a question we can ask ourselves and our clients when it comes to our attitude about changing: is letting go is an essential part of change, how have you navigated letting go past and present and where have you been challenged lately about letting go?

In this episode, I talk about our brains, bodies and suffering. Yay! There is, of course, a connection that explains much of what we (and our clients) do and don't do, based on our perceived state of safety.

Being able to show people what you mean has more impact than just telling them. In this episode, I explore what showing not telling is a skill that can be built just using what you already know and how this will change how your audience connects with you.

We respond to fear, whether it's our own or someone else's all the time. What we as changeworkers need to be aware of is when this happens and what we can do about it. In this episode, I talk about what this might look like and how we can build awareness on holding safe spaces for ourselves and our clients.

The definition of capacity encompasses what something or someone can contain, the ability to experience something and the potential to fulfill a role or position. Why is this important to look at in our roles as changeworkers in business or employment? If we want to expand our capacity to make more money or attract more clients, we need to be able to look at where we're limiting our capacity to receive these things.

This episode is about not getting caught off guard when someone lets you know you crossed a line, and even if you do get caught off guard, you'll learn how to be kind to yourself when you don't react the way you want to.

What was that you said?? Fun? Noooo, when we're business people and/or at work so we need to be capital S Serious.
I say meh to that. We get to decide that fun, or at least lightheartedness, can be part of our practices if we want.
In this episode, I explore why we might think that seriousness is always and only ingredient to how we approach our changeworker ways.

This is part 2 of exploring trauma and trauma responses in our work from the perspective of creating healthy safety for ourselves. In this episode, I explore attachment styles and how they play into our responses to the people and situations around us.
Trigger warning: I talk about trauma in general terms but please take care of yourselves when listening to this episode.

You've probably heard fright or flight as a human response to danger in traumatic situations. In this episode, I explore these two as well as two other trauma responses- freeze and fawn. These four responses to real and perceived danger are potentially present in all humans so when you respond to a client's reaction, which one of these four are triggered in you?
This is part 1 of a 2 part episode arc concerning trauma, so please take care of yourself when listening to these episodes.

In this episode, I talk about the cycles of burn out, from the purpose filled start to the crash when we've depleted ourselves. I talk about ways to be aware of the burn out signs before we hit that wall.
