Open door policy without a culture that promotes vulnerability and service is just a perception of valuing interdependence. As a member of a collective you WANT people to come to you so you can serve them as they do you.

Each of us have a way of being that we hide from the world. It is not safe in our families, social groups, industries or cultures to express that which we truly are. I just want to scream FU!!! I'm going to VE ME anyway, but that's just a voice of frustration. My true being wants to create space for self and others to know they are safe to express their unique being. Conformity kills our inner most expressions

People act based on who they think you are not on who you are. This is really important as we create our Avatars (egos) with intention. You choose who you're going to BE but then reviews from the community shows if you have integrity.

Today, I struggle with being in the present moment. Frustration is the emotion that I feel. The future vision is so very clear and fills me with immediate bliss. Community leaders are much like botanists. It's not just about making a garden that meets the needs of the external environment. The botanist must consider the makeup and interactions of each plant expression. The creation takes much longer with an intention of health and sustainability.
