Sansa is in the clutches of the Lannisters. She only wants to marry Joffrey. They only want her to write to her family demanding their fealty. If she can do that, her dreams might come true. Mac and Simon weigh Sansa’s decisions and prospects. 

Chapter Review: 
Sansa and Jeyne Poole are confined to apartments in Maegor’s Holdfast. Jeyne can't stop crying, having witnessed the butchery that the Lannisters visited on the Starks. Sansa missed all that, because instead of packing for the journey home, she went and told the queen her dad’s plans and was incarcerated for "her safety." 

Sansa is presented to the queen and the small council. All agree that she is not really future queenly material any more in light of her father’s treason. She tries to defend him, but upon discovering that they might still allow her wedding to happen, she soon forgets his plight. Cersei determines that Jeyne is a bad influence, what with her eye-witnessing and all, so she’s to be rehoused by Petyr Baelish.

Sansa just needs to write to brother Robb, mother Cat, Grandfather Hoster Tully, and Aunt Lysa Arryn telling them all to come down to King’s Landing and bend the knee to their new king, and she’ll back in the good books. She grabs a pen.

Queen Cersei Lannister - Widow of King Robert Baratheon, twin sister of Ser Jamie Lannister, mother of "King" Joffrey Baratheon.
Lord Varys - The Spider. Eunuch and Master of Whispers. Member of the King’s Small Council.
Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish - Master of Coin, member of the King’s Small Council, and childhood friend to Cat.
Grand Maester Pycelle - Elderly grand maester of the Seven Kingdoms. Member of the King's Small Council.
Robb Stark - Eldest son of Ned and Cat.
Catelyn Stark - Wife of Lord Eddard Stark and daughter of Hoster Tully.
Hoster Tully - Lord of Riverrun. Father to Cat, Edmure Tully, and Lysa. Old and in poor health.
Lysa Arryn - Cat's younger sister. Widow of Jon Arryn, the former Hand of the King to Robert Baratheon and Lord of the Vale.
