Cat and Ser Rodrik are resting their weary bones at the Inn at the Crossroads, when in walks Tyrion Lannister. Cat goes from insisting they not let war breakout in the realm to possibly firing the first shot, when she takes Tyrion captive. We talk about why she did it and what it means, along with covering other topics of interest in the chapter.
Chapter Review:
While Catelyn Stark and Ser Rodrik Cassel make their way from King's Landing back to Winterfell, they stop off at the Inn at the Crossroads for a hot meal and to get out of the rain. While eating, they meet Marillion, a singer making his way to King's Landing. As the group chats, in walks Tyrion Lannister and his travel companions. When he recognizes her, Cat makes a snap decision. She stands, reveals her identity, then asks the men in the room who owe fealty to her father to arrest Tyrion and help her transport him to Winterfell to await justice in the attempt to murder Bran. Now the game is truly underway.
