Sansa is having a magical day filled first with jousting followed by feasting with her betrothed Joffrey. It isn't until she is escorted home by the Hound that things go sour, starting with an odd revelation and ending in a death threat. We take you step-by-step through her day at the Hand's Tourney.

Chapter Review:
Sansa Stark is enchanted by the spectacle of the tourney in honor of her father. She and her friend Jeyne Poole sit with the high lords and ladies to watch the jousting tilts. She sees all of the realm's greatest knights go head-to-head. The only blemish on the magic of the event is when a young knight is killed by Gregor Clegane's lance. Later, Joffrey Baratheon, her betrothed, sits with her at the feast and is charming and sweet. The party breaks up when the drunken king Robert begins shouting at queen Cersei. Joffrey has his Hound Sandor Clegane escort Sansa back to the Tower of the Hand. On their way, the Hound explains the role his older brother Gregor played in his horribly burned face. He then says that if she tells anyone the story, he will kill her.

Sansa Stark - Oldest daughter of Lord Eddard Stark, the Hand of the King, and Catelyn Tully. Betrothed to Joffrey Baratheon.
Jayne Poole - Sansa's best friend.
Septa Mordane - Stark girls' tutor in the arts of becoming noblewomen.
Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish - Master of Coin, member of the Small Council, and childhood friend to Catelyn Tully.
Ser Loras Tyrell - Young, dashing, talented knight from the Reach.
Joffrey Baratheon - Crown prince of Westeros. Betrothed to Sansa Stark.
Sandor Clegane - The Hound. Prince Joffrey's personal protector.
Ser Gregor Clegane - Sandor Clegane's older brother. Bannerman to Tywin Lannister.
