Craig has so much energy and a passion for life, not just the world of photography he lives in.
From humble beginnings of Landscapes, Wedding photography and Surfing Photos, which Craig assures us all had a vital role in his educational journey of learning his chosen craft, To the Epic photos of we see of Wildlife (Water & Land) that Grace the Covers and Pages of Magazines around the World, not to mention the Framed Images in 100's of Board Rooms, Living Rooms and Exhibitions as well.
He attributes his success to a few things.
1) Taking Risks - often not calculated, but backing yourself, your dream and your ability to see it through.
2) Consistency - putting in the hard work, putting in the hours, paying your dues, taking the hits and bouncing back. You're not always going to win that competition, not everyone is going to see what you see. However you have to keep turning up, working on the shots, the angles, the lighting ..... getting better and better.
3) Being Open to Opportunity - By doing the first two things well, getting yourself out there, being flexible, being easy to work with, can open doors, and other experiences for you.

Growing up in Byron Bay along the coastline of Northern NSW, Australia, it was his parent’s gift of a disposable water proof camera at five years old that set him on the path to his passion. While most kids his age were reading comics, Craig was immersing himself in early editions of National Geographic and when he turned 13 years old he spent all his savings on a 35mm SLR – a move that ultimately set the course for Craig’s future. Entirely self-taught, Craig worked hard at his craft before making a life-changing decision and becoming a full-time professional photographer in 2004 – a defining moment in Craig’s life.
Today his fine art photography offers a unique insight into the world around us. Primarily focusing upon marine and landscape imagery, subjects are presented in their natural environment in a manner which seeks to connect audiences with the environment. Portraying the obvious as abstract, Craig’s images are engaging and beautiful at the same time.
Craig’s stature as a leading nature photographer has indisputably been confirmed as his work has taken out top honour in numerous prestigious competitions including:
– 1st Pace – The Ghost – Competition: Golden Turtle International Photography Competition – Category: The Under Water World (2017)
– 1st Place – Life & Death – Competition: International Landscape Photographer of the Year – Category: International Landscape Photograph of the Year (2014)
– 1st Place – Fin Swipe – Competition: International Photographer of the Year – Category: Underwater Photograph of the Year (2014)
