Joe’s now watched two more episodes of Clarkson’s Farm - and is absolutely loving it! So he and David are back to discuss even more about the show and the man himself, Jeremy Clarkson. They’re both a little bit in awe of him but are now seriously regretting having a go at his Top Gear and Grand Tour shows. And wonder if they’ve blown their chances of him ever wanting to be a guest on Chatabix. Later in the show, they imagine what it would be like to appear on Clarkson’s Farm themselves and also come up with a plan to teach him about podcasting.

As you might well know, David is a fully committed member of the Clarkson’s Farm fan club - he thinks it’s just wonderfully cosy TV. But Joe wasn't convinced he’ll like it and in spite of David’s encouragement, still hadn't gotten around to giving it a go. That is until now, as he’s finally watched the first episode! David’s recently discovered an ‘Exit Survey’ on the Chatabix Patreon account - which is a list of reasons both positive and negative that listeners have submitted when un-subscribing. So naturally he reads some of them to Joe. It’s all very revealing and leads them to think about what exactly listeners want from the pod. Then, in a complete change in direction, they decide to read some more One In A Million stories. It’s a bit of a mixed bag and they almost give up at one point, but thankfully there’s a few great ones in there to keep their spirits up. There’s also a brilliant story sent in by the one and only Jamie Demetriou - do not miss!

Then David suggests wild camping in the Ashdown Forest - which despite Joe’s many reservations, is the idea he decides to go for. It’s recently come to light that the wonderful actor Mark Bonnar appeared alongside David in his infamous Inspector Lynley Mysteries scene. So Joe, being a friend of Marks, has asked him to come on the pod to give his impression of how David behaved on the day. Was he really as nervous, time-waisting and rubbish at acting as David believes? The only problem is that Mark’s suddenly had to cancel and re-schedule the chat. So Joe and David take the opportunity to have a deep-dive into the whole Inspector Lynley experience - so much so that they had to make this episode a 2-parter. Part two coming tomorrow…
