Joe’s worried that his hair is getting too long and thinks he should get it cut? But David’s not so sure and reckons he’s starting to look like Jason Momoa- hunky! Swiftly moving on, they have a chat about Joe’s holiday in Corfu before David excitedly recounts his Kennet and Avon canal adventures whilst holidaying in Wiltshire. But unfortunately he’s a bit distracted as he’s supposed to be writing a best-man’s speech. So they halt proceedings to discuss all of that before David continues with his story in full.

Joe’s in Edinburgh and taking a stroll along the canal, so David takes the opportunity to Zoom him for a chat. They reminisce about their times performing at the festival and how little interest they’d have in doing it now. Joe also recalls the year he shared a ‘party house’ with Tiff Stevenson and Jimmy McGhie, and was possibly a little bit grumpy about it all. So he texts them both to try and get them on the pod - which he then immediately regrets…

He’s fresh from the BAFTA TV awards, where he and Joe met in person for the very first time (although neither of them can believe that they hadn’t done already). After a quick chat about T-shirts, body confidence and weight loss frustrations, David and Joe come up with an idea for a geriatric version of the pod - Chatatxix +30. They want to find two willing (but not too showy) 80 year olds to be the hosts, so put a call-out to the Patrons for some help. Expectation warning: it’s yet another new pod idea that will probably never see the light of day. After all that, they then attempt to do an Instagram Live, live on the podcast - and even manage to get Rob Beckett to join them. Somewhat predictably, it’s bloody chaos!
