Today I want to tell you an interesting story: the story of “vos.”

🎧 Have you ever wondered why in Argentina—especially in the Río de la Plata region—we don’t use the pronoun “tú,” but instead say “vos”?

In this episode, we’re going to travel back in time to discover where this unique feature of Rioplatense Spanish comes from. We’ll explore its origins in Spain, how it crossed the ocean during the colonial period, and why it survived in some parts of the Americas while disappearing in others.
