In many respects, this week's episode of CheapShow is a relatively simple affair! There is a short and sweet “Tales from the Shop Floor” and the PO Box delivers a wonderfully flavoursome collection of Spanish Cheap Eat treats... However, it's what floats around those segments you need to be careful of! Eli is off his leash because Paul can't speak for long periods, they consider a new Mr Blobby death cult, discover the 3 major "fluids" that permeate throughout the podcast, have a delightful look at baby versions of some of our favourite characters and Paul even lets Eli do the "end of segment" sound effects! Will wonders never cease?

This week, we have nothing. No. Genuinely, we have absolutely nothing. We finally ran out of things to do! The lock down has cut us off from our usual supplies and so Paul and Eli resort to desperate measures. Very desperate. What's available, absolutely free and can do a lot of creative heavy lifting? Why! It's public domain songs and stories. This week, the cheap chaps burrow through the public domain landfill and come back with their own horrific take on songs and popular characters from the olden days. We are VERY sorry in advance. We didn't know it would turn out this way. What have we done? WHAT HAVE WE DONE??!?!

Elsewhere in this episode, Eli's correctly predicts the horrific outcome to another Tales from the Shop Floor and Paul discovers a word that may neuter Eli's verbal excesses! Paul is spent. After the 3 hour epic that was episode 181, Paul is out of material so reluctantly he hands over the reigns to Eli. What happens over the 60 minutes is all on Eli, Paul washes his hands of it completely. So... No content? No problems! CheapShow has a PO box and thanks to the scavenging prowess of the cheapshow audience, they will never be short of tat and treasure. Luckily, a last minute delivery means that Paul and Eli have the joy of discovery ahead of them. What do they discover this week? Well, Eli gets a proper noodle bonk on, Paul gets the chance to play one of his favourite naff tunes and this episode might be 95% character free! Which makes a nice change!

In times like these, when all seems lost, when we find ourselves consumed with confusion and worry, it's good to know there is a hero to show us the way. Someone who will reach out into the darkness and shout "I am Eli and I bring you... NOODLES". So yes, it's another dose of instant noodle goodness this week. Eli shows off two new discoveries and Paul largely has to put up with it. Same old, same old. However, we also get to find out if Eli is "Smarter Than a 10 Year Old" when Paul pulls out another of Gannon's Golden Games. Unfortunately, this leads to a lot of potentially very troubling "humour". Finally, witness the birth of 2 new characters. Both of them bloody awful! Welcome to CheapShow...

This week, it may be worth bearing in mind that the lock down is having an effect on Paul and Eli's brain. For instance, when Paul puts on a puppet show for his co-host, it doesn't end well for Mr Cocky Crocodile, put it that way. Also witness the sad story of the Suck Vac 3000, a machine built for one purpose and it's one that Eli plans to exploit. At some point the cheap chaps remember the point of this podcast and test some cheap snacks, discover a new "tales from the dancefloor", reveal an insidious radio DJ conspiracy and dive into a whole new "Silverman's Platter" where it all gets funky. Finally, we give you the gift of exercise... which is anything but routine.
