Full Hour | In today’s second hour, Dom continues the Dom Giordano by revealing some controversy that’s broken around a regular guest after an event held yesterday in the Philadelphia region. In an Inquirer report of Representative Byron Donalds’ “Congress, Cognac, and Cigars” held locally in effort to strengthen the Black vote for Donald Trump, the Inquirer notes that Donalds argued that Black Americans were better off under Jim Crow laws. This has caused a viral wave of criticism, including from Hakeem Jeffries, who on the floor of Congress condemned Donalds’ words. Dom argues against both Jeffries and the Inquirer report after playing back audio from Donalds himself who says he never said that, clarifying the statement that was taken wholly out of context. This leads Dom and Dan to discuss the media coverage of the event and the effort by the Biden administration to create another explosive racist moment, and the way that Democrats have used race to divide for years.
