Chip and Cern Show episodes

  • 2021 MLB Playoffs

We are big baseball fans here so we talk about all things baseball playoffs for this season. We are pulling for the SF Giants, but really want anyone but the Dodgers to win. Cern put his Halloween decorations up well before the HOA mandated 15 days. Several of Cern’s neighbors have joined him, so he thinks another HOA notice has been avoided. That’s all for this week folk! Thanks for listening!

  • Cern’s Halloween Decoration Hunt
Cern has his heart set on a new halloween decoration that is the hottest item at Home Depot. He is driving all over town looking at every Home Depot for this rare decoration. Hear how this story unfolds and more on this episode of the Chip and Cern Show! Thanks for listening.

  • Penis Inspections, Hooters, and NY Trip Stories
We start the show with a great story of a kid that hacked his high school’s email system and sent an email about “mandatory penis inspections” which we gave us a good laugh. Cern they shared a classic Chip and Cern Show story about when they ran into a scout that came out to see Chip pitch in high school.  We then chatted about the time we went on Tony’s families trip to New York and somehow we were invited. That’s all for this week! Thanks for listening.

  • Garbage Day, 69, and Cern’s Lowes Stalker
Everyone seems to be enjoying the latest episode where we gave Joe’s wedding a proper recap. Chip scored a receipt which his number was 69 and he tired to cash it in like some lottery ticket. Chip’s neighbor has been taking their garbage to the school across the street, so we dig into that. Cern shares an odd story about a weird guy/stalker that he has been running into at work. That’s all for this week and thanks for listening!

  • Joe’s Wedding Recap
We spent Saturday celebrating our good buddy Joe at his wedding. We both were groomsmen and we did a bang up job. Chip took his new Tesla up some dirt mountain switchbacks without fully being aware if it was possible or not. We ended up seeing it through and had a great time at the wedding. Congrats to Joe and Stacy!

  • Tiny Airplanes, 4 Hr Boners, and Suicide Squad
Chip shares about this tiny plane experience on a recent flight to Boston, which would have brought fear right to Cern’s heart. Speaking of fear we are scared of the 4-hour boner that all these pill commercials warn men about. Cern heard good things about the newest DC movie, The Suicide Squad, so we both are going to watch that. That is all for this week thanks for listening!

  • Guac Gate Update, HOA Showdown, and Baseball’s Odd Rules

Chip provides a quick update to the great Guac Gate Sage. If you have yet to hear those you need to get on it! Cern has an upcoming HOA battle this time in HOA Kangaroo Court, updates to follow. Chip was trying to explain baseball to his nearly 6-year-old daughter and it made him realize how confusing the sport is, but we discussed that might also be why it is so amazing. That’s all for this week! Thanks for listening.

  • NorCal Fires, The Big Lebowski, and First Day of School
Unfortunately, the fires have started already in California and getting closer to Cern’s house. Chip watched a bunch of old comedy favorites lately like The Big Lebowski, Super Bad, and Pineapple Express. We shot movie lines back and forth for a while and chatted about our kid’s first days of school. Thanks for listening!

  • NA Beer, School is Back, and HS Boners
In an effort to not drink as much and not be hungover Chip tried some nonalcoholic beer. It was decent but left much to be desired, mostly a buzz. Cern’s kids have started school, so we chatted about our early years in high school and some funny stories we have. Most of the stories had to do with being clowns and doing stupid things that you would expect high school boys to do. That’s all for this week and thanks for listening!

  • Gold Mining at Folsom Lake, Garage Doors, and HOA Battle
We open the show with a tangent like usual. Folsom Lake is really low and some old gold mining equipment from the Gold Rush has surfaced. Chip has a story about his Grandma’s Oldsmobile destroying the drive-thru. Cern’s garage door busted and it was a great story. More HOA battles for Cern and it doesn’t look like it is going to let up anytime soon. That’s all for this week. Thanks for listening.
