Our good friend Stat Boi Dana joins us this week for a wide-ranging podcast mostly revolving around sports. Spin gate has taken a new life now that the MLB is having umpires check multiple times per appearance. We also chatted about the Annual Pickle Off which is going into its2nd year and everyone is very excited with the exception of Dana who doesn’t like pickles. The NCAA has been required to allow athletes to earn money from sponsors and other endorsement deals. We then chatted through some od ball baseball stats as Bobby Bonilla Day is here! We quickly had to steer away from another pizza making episode, so thanks for dealing with that. We then got chatting about Axe body spray and the wave it made at our high school and how the marketing had the teenage boys bought on the idea that Axe would get the attention of women. A bit ago Cern had a mountain lion in the neighborhood and that brought up the crazy viral video about the guy running and he ran into a mother mountain lion and her cubs. Then we discussed how the MLB has implemented some bs punishment for pitchers who violate the substance policy which was under a lot of heat due to the spin rate issues that are happening in baseball. Cern and Joe both got new Ooni Pizza ovens and unbeknownst to Chip his wife was looking to get him one for Father’s Day. So now we had to turn it into some pizza-making competition. Cern tried to sneak past some different ingredients by his kids, but they caught right onto that. Kid stories and talk to follow.
