We kick off the show talking about the newest beanball that busted up Kevin Pillar's nose which prompted a discussion about the fail pitcher’s helmet. That somehow got us into Cern coming into Circuit City when Chipper would work there. So many good stories and misspent hours working retail jobs. We then started a nice chat through movies and Cern is spot on with his Rotten Tomatoes-dar. We also committed to watch Citizen Kane again and discuss on an upcoming pod. Cern has been getting hounded by the door-to-door salespeople, and we discussed a few different tactics to keep these people from constantly bothering and interrupting your life. Chip hosted a nice summer kick-off party for Mother’s Day and all the kiddos put the slip n slide through its paces and ended up killing the thing. Chip went to Costco to find a 25’ slip n slide but wasn’t sure it would even fit on his lawn. Also, J-Lo and A-Rod split up and J-Lo did a relationship boomerang back to Batman Ben Affleck. After over a year and a half of no golf we finally got to hit the links! We met in Davis, CA to play a round at Wildhorse Golf Course. Cern was swapping memes with Chip and a very funny one featured the KC & JoJo song “All My Life” which brought us back to high school so we got to talking all about that. Lots of boner talk for some reason, but it is what it is. Cern catches Antiques Roadshow every once in a while and there was an awesome baseball card collection on there. That is it for this week! Cern is brushing up on his golf skills for the big golf event in the next few weeks that everyone is looking forward to. Cern had a few good swings out before the wheels did fall off, but not before winning the second-round event.  Cern has been working on his cooking skills and doing some Joshua Weissman recipes and really killing it even the toughest critics ie the kids. Speaking of kids we discussed why the oddest things just throw the whole meal off. One speck of green in there? Can’t be eaten. Vaccines are rolling out so be sure to get one of those for yourself. In order to properly celebrate us both getting wax’d n’ vax’d we have a golf outing planned for Chip’s Birthday. Should be a good time, except we haven’t picked up the golf clubs in well over a year. Cern got his 2nd dose of the COVID Vaccine and had quite an interesting experience with the whole thing. We both are very excited that baseball is back in full swing and it is just nice to sit back and watch a few innings here and there. We also discussed the Oakland A’s need for a new stadium so the Giants could take the ferry for the Bay Bridge series. That’s all for this week thanks for listening! 

Cern is enjoying a week off from work and is fully rested up for the greatness that is the Chip and Cern Show. Cern has his second part in his Lowes saga this time trying to secure himself a cart. Turns out Home Depot isn’t that much better and usually has poor customer service too. The Pokemon Go continues and we have increased our PoGo relationship to “Best Friend” which we were both excited about. Chip’s daughter has her first loose tooth, so Cern is forecasting how that will go for everyone. Another one in the books. Thanks for listening!
