In this episode, I was honored to speak with Dr. Tim Young. He is a chiropractic and founder of an awesome event, Focus OKC as well as Focus Foundations.
Dr. Young has been in practice for nearly 30 years and has hundreds of amazing stories he can tell. He shared 4-year-old Oscar’s story - he wasn’t thriving, his kidneys were the size of raisins, and he had to wear a diaper because he couldn’t control his bodily functions.
Dr. Young discovered that Oscar had a congenital spinal malformation in his lumbar region that was causing major nerve interference. Chiropractic helped restore function in a powerful way, but that’s not all; there’s a very cool “rest of the story!” Listen in to hear how Oscar is doing now 15 years later.
Dr. Young is passionate about creating the very best version of himself that he can and then giving that version to the world, so that others can take that and create a better version of themselves, paying it forward in an unending cycle.
We talk about how this impacts health, relationships and our professions. He also shares his personal story of what got him into chiropractic. I’m grateful for how dedicated Dr. Young is to building up chiropractors so that they can impact their communities!
