Many have heard the famous story of a deaf man, Harvey Lillard, being given the first chiropractic adjustment by Dr. D.D. Palmer. (If you have check the links farther down.) However, does that mean chiropractic can CURE deafness?

Today’s guest on What Chiropractic Doesn’t Cure: Stories of Innate, Dr. Marilyn Shore, is a family chiropractor at Del Ray Beach Florida and regular speaker at Dynamic Essentials.

Dr. Marilyn tells the story of a 5-year-old boy who was deaf. His parents had taken him to specialist after specialist to try to discover why he couldn’t hear.

Dr. Marilyn also shares the story of how she started out as a nurse, working in NYC hospitals - when she suddenly heard the call to become a chiropractor! With her knowledge and background in medicine, it’s interesting that Dr. Marilyn prefers a simple, straightforward approach to educating patients. 

We also discuss this principle of giving, loving, serving and doing out of our own abundance without expectation of return. It turns out her puppy, Honey, may be better at it than all of us! I ask the questions we all want to know, “What about the days that we’re stuck in a spiral and we don’t feel abundant?”
