Chris Fabry Live

Our "Best of 2016" conversations continue with a musical Thursday. We begin with our guests, Mr. and Mrs. Something, a husband and wife duo who weave the soulful passion of blues and rock with the honesty of folk music.

Trust and hope in God is also evident in the music of The Gray Havens. David Radford, half of this husband-wife pair, tried out for American Idol and joins us.

Are you bound up in your Christian life, trying to perform for God? He wants you to walk in freedom, but how do you experience that when you’re trying to please everyone, especially Him? In a "Best of" conversation from 2016, we talk with D. A. Horton about becoming enslaved to God’s grace. What does this new path do to brothers and sisters in Christ around you?

In another encore program from Founder's Week, author and teacher Ray Pritchard joins us.

One of Chris' literary heroes is Walter Wangerin, Jr. He's written novels and short stories and non-fiction books that have stuck to the soul. Hear an encore presentation of a conversation about Walt's life and the things he reveals, particularly about his childhood, in a memoir. See if his struggles mirror what you've experienced.

In another "Best of" program from 2016, we sit down with former president of Moody, now president of Cornerstone University, Dr. Joseph Stowell. Don't miss the encouraging conversation.

Is there hope for someone hooked on heroin? Jordan Rogers knows what that addiction feels like. Hear his story and find encouragement.

Doug Logan pastors in Camden, N.J., in a neighborhood where drug abuse, gang violence and extreme poverty are the norm. But God is changing stories on the block.

You know his books The Pursuit of God and The Knowledge of the Holy and many others. Hear a special broadcast featuring writings by A.W. Tozer, including selections from an advent devotional titled From Heaven. And the voice of Tozer himself!

We have a special encore musical program for you today. Several recent guests present some great thoughts and songs. Selah sings "O Holy Night," Aaron Shust helps us "Rejoice," Lindsay McCaul shares a special medley she put together of "White Christmas" and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and hear a performance of Andrew Greer and Cindy Morgan on "I Wonder as I Wander" and "My Troubles."
