James E. Mack became a Royal Marines Commando in the late 1980s and later on, a member of a Special Operations Unit. His 22-year career saw James serving all over the globe. He subsequently specialised as a Counter-Terrorism adviser and assisted in UK and US operations. His passion for wildlife has seen James develop Counter-Poaching programs for conservation organisations in West Africa. Amongst his achievements, James is now a highly successful author.

Gina Allsop's military career started in the 30th Signals Regiment, nick-named the 'Globetrotters'. In conflict or crisis, they were one of the first units out there due to their state of the art communications. Gina went on to train US Delta-Force and Navy Seals in surveillance and tactics. Lieutenant Commander Paul Youngman MID, entered the Royal Navy in 1975 and passed the All Arms Commando Course. As a Royal Navy Medical Branch rating he served up to Warrant Officer First Class. During his 37 year career as a Royal Navy Commando, he served in many areas of operations including Northern Ireland, The Falklands War, Gulf War 1, Cambodia, Kosovo, Gulf War 2 and Afghanistan. Paul was a Leading Medical Assistant attached to 45 Commando Group, during the Falklands War. For his brave actions during battle, he was awarded a 'Mention In Dispatches'.

Michael George Fellows MBE DSC BEMG, joined the Royal Navy in 1955. When the Falkland Islands were invaded, Mick was Fleet Chief Petty Officer Clearance Diver and second-in-command of the team. His job was to search RFA and Warships for limpet mines, after suspected enemy underwater operations against the fleet. Whilst under attack, Mick's team were tasked to investigate and defuse numerous unexploded bombs onboard many of the taskforce ships. His team's amazing and highly dangerous work, helped save the lives of hundreds of British personel. He is the first man in naval history to defuse unexploded bombs on board a warship at sea. For his work, he was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross. His next award came when he was awarded the British Empire Medal for Gallantry, for bomb and mine disposal in Northern Ireland and Scotland. Further work in the Royal Navy saw him receive the MBE, after the tragic Herald Of Free Enterprise accident. Mick served a total of 35 years with the Royal Navy and ended his career with the rank of Warrant Officer, first class.
