Chriss Smith is the co-founder and CEO of Trident Mindset. Chriss spent 12 years as a U.S. Navy SEAL, and is now a competitive ultra-endurance athlete and founder of business ventures in the leadership development, maritime rescue, and physical fitness fields.

I was fortunate enough to have Chriss as one of my instructors at SealFit Kokoro Class 30.  I learned a tremendous amount from him and the other instructors and I have been keeping up with them all since that event.  When I saw that Chriss launched his mindset training program called Trident Mindset, I knew that I had to get him on the podcast. 

SealFit Kokoro is a difficult event that was a real life changer for me.  I learned more during those 50 hours than I had, in many ways, in my entire life.  I would suggest it for anyone, however I am cognizant that not everyone can afford the time that it takes to get physically prepared for an event like that.  Additionally, not everyone may find it interesting to be submerged in cold Pacific Ocean on a California beach at 4 am surrounded by Navy Seals that are quite adept at dishing out a physical beat down.  Trident Mindset offers many of the same lessons I learned in an audio format that is short and concise.
