Today we wrap up the Fall portion of our Renewal series, with the fourth talk from Mark 12. Mike will be directing us to think about what it means to love God with all of our strength.

This morning we continue our Renewal series with the third message from Mark 12.  This is where Jesus notes that we are to “love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves.”  So far we have looked at what it means to love God with our heart and also with our soul. Today Mike will look at the command to love God with our mind.

This week we pivot from The Big Four topics on identity – we are highly valued, deeply fallen, eternity shaped and greatly loved – to a discussion of, “so now what?”  This is based on Christ’s comments in Mark 12.

We are in the middle of a series on Renewal where we are spending the first 4 weeks looking at identity, who we truly are – most importantly, who God says we are. We have prioritized 4 big ideas that should shape the way we understand who we are and therefore how we operate in the world, how we live from who we are. Today we are looking at the 4th idea, that we are deeply loved by God. Ben will show what this means by looking at the end of Romans 8.
