Bildad and Job offer very contrasting speeches on the greatness of God. One uses the true knowledge of God's greatness to exalt man and beat down the servant of the Lord. While the other uses the same truths to exalt God and strengthen his faith and trust in Him.

Suffering is one of the top reasons people turn away or reject God. But suffering is also one of the top reasons why people run to the arms of God. Why is this- How are we to respond to suffering --not only our own suffering, but the widespread suffering and injustice in the world around us- Here we see the mystery of God's sufferings, and a call to put our hope in Him and His ultimate wisdom.

Nothing like suffering wakes us up to the reality that we are not in control. How then do we persevere in faith when we not only lose control, but when God seems to hide His face from us in time of need-

Job's friends often speak the truth, but they continue to apply it to Job in a harmful and even dangerous manner. Here we see an otherwise solid presentation of sin, God's judgment, and repentance, serve as just another trial and temptation to the Lord's servant, Job.

Sunday Morning Teaching Hour- What about Israel- Is there a future for Israel- Is there going to be a mass conversion of Israel in the future- What does it mean that, 'all Israel will be saved'-

Job and his friends are in a heated debate about the nature of justice and God's dealings in this world. Here Job appeals to the light of nature to argue that one's spiritual state cannot be discerned simply by looking at the circumstances of life.

Job's friend Zophar utterly rejects Job's defense of his innocence, as well as his statement of faith in his redeemer -from chapter 19-. How then can such a dark passage serve for our encouragement and edification- What does this teach us about how Satan tempts God's children-
