There was a time, long long ago, where the White House wasn't filled with people who hate each other.  No records exist of this mystical land, but oral tradition perseveres.  Christopher even wrote a book about his experiences there.  It was a time when the president could have a conversation with someone without it devolving into a shouting match.  A time when congress, for the most part, got along.
