On June 5, 2018, Chrystul Kizer was arrested at age 17 for the murder of Randall Phillip Volar III. During her arrest she claimed Volar was trafficking her and she killed him in self defense. The Kyle Rittenhouse verdict has brought Chrystul’s bid for a self defense claim back to the forefront.
