Daily Study: God has given you a calling for which He desires you to succeed at. However, as much as God desires for you to succeed, Satan desires for you to fail. Therefore, Satan will send many attacks your way that are designed to stop your calling and/or are fashioned to tempt you to give up. A major way we can stop his attacks is to put on the full armor of God. This is practically done by living a life following the ways of God. While living "right" doesn't save us, it can offer protection against the attacks of Satan.

Revelation Series: Revelation 11–12 reveals the unfolding of the seven-year tribulation, divided into two halves of 3.5 years. During the first half, God's two witnesses—likely modeled after Moses and Elijah—prophesy against the rising Antichrist until he, empowered by demonic forces, kills them; after three and a half days, God resurrects and raptures them, signaling a shift into the Great Tribulation. The seventh trumpet then proclaims God's coming reign and reveals His heavenly temple. Chapter 12 depicts Israel giving birth to Jesus while Satan, symbolized as the dragon, attempts to destroy Him but is cast from heaven to earth. In rage, Satan pursues Israel, whom God protects in the wilderness for 3.5 years, and then turns against those who come to faith after the rapture, leading to intense persecution and martyrdom as his final rebellion unfolds.

If you don't have the look society desires, then that can be a disadvantage in climbing the ladder of success. However, none of that matters to God because God's blessing for your success is not based on societal biases.
